These are some charcters I've been doodling recently. I'm thinking of photoshopping scanned in liberty fabrics into more carefully worked versions of them, and maybe developing them for screenprinting...
What do you think? What would you like to have images like this on?

They look great like that! I can totally see that as a fabric print. Love the penmanship (now there's a word I don't use often enough!) - what kind of pen did you use?

I agree that this sketch page would look great as a fabric pattern...I think that rarely is my sketch book as organized as yours! The line quality is very cool.
flora, it's just a Staedler pigment liner.
As for my sketchbook being neat...do please remeber this is a controlled peek into my sketchbook, there's plenty of messier pages!

I love these illustrations - they would also be fantastic as images in a colouring book. My kids (and I!) would love it.
