Rejects
Sometimes you spend an evening working away, an evening that's very precious because there aren't many available when you work two a week and have a baby who doesn't approve of sleeping between 7-midnight.
You spend the evening working and working, you finish the piece and then you put it with the other pieces it's meant to complement, and you realise it doesn't work at all.
Oh that's a horrible sinking feeling. I had that feeling when I made this last night.
If anyone would like this rejected papercut then leave a comment below....

I think it would look beautiful framed against coloured paper!
Even your rejects are nice :-) I can give it a new home if you can't bare to look at it lol. Sending you sleepy vibes from here - we live in a house of kids who don't seem to want to sleep (well the smallest one mainly) - how on earth they function in the day I have no idea :-(
Ooooh ooooh oooh!
Me please! I'd be over the moon to own one of your pieces, reject or not.
More sleepy vibes being sent from here too xxxx
Don't let it go to waste! It looks and sounds like it took a lot of precious time, and although I have no kids at home my class of 30 keep me on my toes, so I kinda know how you feel!
I'm well into my paper cutting art, but am yet to find my first piece for the wall! This would be a great piece for above my desk! (I was going to say classroom but I wouldn't be able to tell the kids off for daydreaming if I put this up!) xx
Robyn, it's gorgeous. I've been watching your work on Facebook and am truly gobsmacked by the beautiful things you create.
We're about to move house at the end of the month (after a long and torturous process!) and I would love to put this piece up as the first original art work to christen the new place!

It might be a reject but it's still fab!
Can I sneakily ask what paper you use? I am tempted to have a go at papercutting (although realistic I will be a long way from your standards) but can't decide what paper would work well.
It's lovely Robyn, all your paper cutting is. I love it. It would suit me down to a tea because I'm a terrible day dreamer. Off in my own little world most of the day! Xx
I use 300gsm watercolour paper because I like the fact that the thickness makes the papercut more 3D, often people use thinner papers and then it's hard to tell it's a papercut and not a print in my opinion.
Robyn, it's just gorgeous. It would suit my Martha, she's always got her head in the clouds!
Lovely as always! I'd happily give it a home. :)
I can't believe that is a reject! Lovely stuff!
If your rejects look as good as this your other work must be OUT OF THIS WORLD.
You are one clever lady.
To good to be a reject, I would be glad to give it a home
I got on!!!
I wish my intended art looks as ace as your rejects!
Beauuuuutiful as always. I'd love to win it. Sorry you had a wasted evening though. X
It's beautiful, I'd love to give it a home too!
Awesome. I can hardly cut a circle out of a piece of paper! You have also shown me today how easy it is to read blogs on my phone - thank you.
Hi Robyn, hope you are all well, I have been asked by Ellie to post for this as well, because she would like it for her room
Thanks stu
am i too late?
